For Lumina

I lived in Moscow and became seduced by its cinematic otherness, so fascinated by the city’s sublime embrace I have barely ventured outside of it - until now.

The project “For Lumina” is about travelling the unknown roads around Eastern Europe, exploring my daughters bloodline. Over time intimately understanding its people, culture and landscapes that make this place so mysterious.

A longterm project that will one day be published into a book, and the first copy will go to my daughter, Lumina. With the hope of possibly inspiring her to visit some of these places herself one day, and to install a sense of discovery and adventure that this project evokes.
